Weasel and Chainsaw

The boys found two female stray cats named them Weasel and Chainsaw, then adopted them. Soon after Chainsaw had her babies in a a basket I set up for her up in the bedroom. One day when Chainsaw was away from the basket Weasel stuck her nose in to see the kittens and Chainsaw saw her. Chainsaw's motherly instincts kicked in and the two had a mighty battle all over the house. Weeks later when Chainsaw weaned her kittens Weasel adopted them. She "nursed" them though they were already weaned. As they grew and grew she would drag them with her every where she went.

The Jacksonville Journal came out and did a story on this called "The Cat's Meow."
